Our story began in the vineyard. In 1991, dad Hynek planted the first vines together with grandpa Honza. Winemaking has been part of our everyday life ever since. We grew up among the vineyards and the historic wine cellar. It's the place where we live, work and raise the next generation of Holáneks.
We farm our own organic vineyards in Ivaň, in the heart of the Mikulov wine subregion. Ever since we were little, dad Hynek has taught us that a wine's character is born above all in the vineyard, so the grapes get our greatest care. We harvest them at optimal ripeness, process them gently in the historic cellar and give the wines the time they need. Thanks to our own bottling line, they go into the bottle only when they are truly ready.
The greatest wealth of our winery isn't the vineyards or the cellar. It's the family behind it. Today the fourth generation — Sarah, Laura and Jiří — is already running through the same vineyards. That's why we care for the soil, the vines and every single bottle, knowing that one day we'll hand them not just a winery, but above all the values it was built on.

In 1991, together with my father Jan, I planted the first vines and founded Vinařství Holánek. I believe a wine's character is born above all in the vineyard. Today I'm glad I can pass my experience on. My wish is for winemaking to be as natural a part of the next generations' lives as it has been of mine.

I grew up in the winery. I spent my childhood among the vineyards and the historic cellar, where today I continue the work that dad and grandpa Honza began more than thirty years ago. I believe every wine should be an honest reflection of the vineyard it comes from. My goal is to preserve the values our winery stands on and develop them with respect for the next generations.

Sales, restaurants and wine festivals
Michal connects our wines with restaurants, wine shops, festivals and private customers. He looks after business partners and helps our wines find new paths to people. Every partnership is built on trust, a personal approach and long-term relationships.
Events, weddings and tastings
Veronika is the face of the winery courtyard at the parsonage. She prepares tastings, weddings and other events and makes sure everyone feels welcome. Thanks to her smile, warm approach and willingness to help, many visitors take home not just our wines, but lovely memories too.
Mobile wine shops and wine delivery
Jiří handles wine deliveries to villages, runs the mobile wine shops and takes wine orders for the delivery routes. He's happy to advise you on delivery dates or help with a wine order in your village.
