Wimbledon amongst the wine fairs 🍷
The Valtice Wine Fair has long been regarded as one of the most prestigious wine competitions in Central Europe. It is not for nothing that it is known as the ‘Wimbledon of wine exhibitions’. We are all the more delighted that we have once again brought home some wonderful awards from Valtice this year, thereby confirming the quality of the wines from our family winery in Ivani.
From this year’s event, we’re bringing home:

- Riesling 2022 – selection of grapes
- Welschriesling 2024 late harvest – semi-dry
- Riesling 2023 – Grape Selection – SOLD OUT
🥇 1× gold medal
- Welschriesling 2024 Late Harvest – dry – SOLD OUT
The competition was fierce – hundreds of wineries, thousands of samples and very strict judging by a panel of experts. Every award from this competition is a tremendous endorsement of the winemaker’s work, both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
We are delighted that wines across a range of styles have been successful – from fresh, aromatic wines to more distinctive and complex examples. It is precisely the diversity and purity of our wines that we have long prided ourselves on.
Our successes at the Valtice Wine Markets also serve as motivation for us to carry on, constantly raising the bar in terms of quality and producing wines that will delight not only experts, but above all you – our customers.
