Blauburger 2023, late harvest, is a full-bodied and distinctive red wine with a pronounced structure and a pleasantly dry finish. The nose is dominated by notes of dark cherries, forest fruits and a hint of spice, complemented on the palate by subtle hints of coffee and dark chocolate.

The low residual sugar allows the varietal character, velvety tannins and harmonious finish to shine through. Thanks to its balanced ratio of alcohol and acidity, the wine comes across as elegant, whilst offering plenty of body and depth.

Blauburger 2023 is the ideal accompaniment to roast meats, game, barbecued specialities and mature cheeses.

We wanted to preserve the variety’s typical character – dark fruit, juiciness and a pleasant structure – and create an authentic dry red that has depth without being unnecessarily heavy. On the palate, dark cherries and wild berries blend with subtle notes of coffee and dark chocolate. The result is a velvety, harmonious red with a pleasantly long finish.“
