Welschriesling

Vintage 2025

Late harvest0.75 l11.5 %

A light and fresh Welschriesling with a pleasant fruity aroma, blending notes of citrus, green apple and delicate flowers. On the palate, it captivates with a harmonious combination of juicy acidity and delicate residual sugar, giving it a very fresh, light character that invites you to take another sip.

Its lower alcohol content emphasises its light character, making it the ideal wine for summer gatherings, to accompany light meals, fish, poultry or simply for relaxing with friends.

What it pairs with

It goes perfectly with grilled trout or pike-perch, chicken, light pasta dishes, vegetable salads and mild cheeses. It’s also delicious on its own, well chilled, whilst enjoying a summer get-together with friends.

We harvested the Welschriesling grapes on 8 October, when the sugar content was 21.2 °NM. The aim was to produce a light, fresh Welschriesling with lovely varietal aromas and a juicy flavour.

After fermentation, we left the wine on its fine lees for five months. This gave it a smooth texture and a little more depth, without it losing its light and fresh character.

The residual sugar of 9.3 g/l blends nicely with the acidity of 5.8 g/l. The result is a semi-dry Vlašák that remains light, clean and very easy to drink.
