We are delighted to present our new Jiří II sparkling wine, an exceptional sparkling wine made from the Riesling grape variety, named after our son. It combines elegance, freshness and a personal family story, which is of the utmost importance to our winery.

On the nose, you’ll find delicate citrus notes, green apple and a light mineral undertone typical of the Rieslings from our vineyards. Thanks to its very low residual sugar content, the sparkling wine has a beautifully clean, dry and lively character, whilst its fresh acidity lends the wine vibrancy and a long finish.

Jiří II is classified as Brut Nature and was produced without dosage. The sparkling wine thus fully showcases the character of the Riesling grape and the terroir of our vineyards without unnecessary adjustments, placing the utmost emphasis on purity of expression.

It is ideal for special occasions, celebrations and even everyday moments worth raising a glass to.

„Jiří II bears the name of our son and the next generation of the Holánek family. He was born on 16 January 2024, which is why we chose the 2024 vintage for the sparkling wine that carries his name.

It was made from Riesling by the traditional method of bottle fermentation. It aged on the lees for 12 months and, after disgorgement, was left without dosage as a Brut Nature. A pure Riesling that is, above all, a symbol of our family tradition continuing.“
