Alibernet Barrique 2024 is a distinctive red wine with a deep, dark colour and a rich aromatic profile. The nose is dominated by notes of blackcurrant, sour cherry and wild berries, complemented by an elegant touch of barrique with hints of vanilla, coffee, dark chocolate and subtle spices.

The palate is full-bodied, structured and harmonious. Ageing in barrique barrels has lent the wine smoothness, roundness and a more complex character, without overshadowing the typical fruitiness of the Alibernet variety. Pleasant acidity, combined with delicate tannins, creates a long and elegant finish.

We recommend serving this wine with beef steaks, game, barbecued specialities or mature cheeses. It is ideal for festive occasions as well as quiet evenings when you wish to savour a distinctive and refined red wine.

„Alibernet 2024 is one of our most distinctive red wines. It is also a PIWI variety whose natural disease resistance allows us to greatly reduce interventions in the vineyard. Grapes from the AEIBIS vineyard gave the wine a deep colour, pronounced fruitiness and a firm structure, which we developed further by ageing in a barrique barrel. Blackcurrant and dark fruit gradually intertwined with notes of dark chocolate, coffee and subtle spice. The result is a full, mature and complex red with a long finish and the potential to age further in the bottle.“
