„The grapes for this Welschriesling come from our oldest vineyard on the AEIBIS vineyard plot in Ivani. We harvested them on 13 October and knew right from the start that this was going to be something special! :)

Fermentation took place at a temperature of around 19–20 °C to bring out not only the wine’s freshness but also a fuller, more distinctive character. The wine was then given plenty of time to mature, and gradually it developed a beautiful bouquet reminiscent of a freshly mown meadow, wildflowers and herbs.

We entered the wine into the VOC Mikulovsko scheme, where inclusion is determined not by the sugar content of the grapes, but primarily by the wine’s origin and character. And it is precisely this origin that is important to us too – we want the wine to reflect the place from which it comes. Furthermore, the resulting wine must pass evaluation by a panel of experts.

The result is a completely dry Vlašák with a distinctive sense of place, subtle minerality and a long, clean finish.

The VOC Mikulovsko designation holds special significance for us. Hynek Holánek was instrumental in its creation, and the emphasis on the wine’s origin is precisely what our winery is built upon and what we believe in.“
